Information we collect

DOTZEEK stores account email and authentication information, company and team details, customer and unit records, inspection findings and readings, photos, signing records, and generated reports. We also store the contact details and information you submit in an Enterprise or support request.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate accounts, operate company workspaces, save and retrieve inspections, generate PDFs, manage team access, and review requests. Do not upload information you do not have permission to provide.

Workspace access and service providers

Company membership and roles control access to workspace records. Company owners and administrators manage their teams. DOTZEEK uses Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, and Vercel for website hosting. Authorized platform administrators may access information to operate and support the service.

Automatic customer report emailing is disabled. Downloaded reports are shared by the person downloading them; share only with intended recipients. No payment details are collected by the current early-access signup.

Optional ZEEK AI assistance

When a company owner enables AI assistance and a user requests a suggestion, the chat conversation, entered note, or selected report findings are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to the configured model provider. Dedicated contact fields, VIN fields, signatures, and photo files are excluded from these requests. Free-text notes may still contain information a user enters; avoid including personal information. DOTZEEK stores request identifiers and usage counts to manage allowances. Generated suggestions change inspection notes only when a user chooses to apply them; generated report summaries do not modify completed reports.

Optional browser voice beta

Pro voice input and approved pilot testing use your browser’s speech recognition service after you choose Dictate and allow microphone access. Your browser may send audio to its speech-service provider. DOTZEEK does not upload or store microphone audio. The transcript fills your message box for review; it is sent to the AI service only when you choose Send. Read aloud uses a local device voice when available. Closing the chat stops dictation and playback. Chats are held in page memory and clear when you leave the page, close the floating chat, or reload.

Optional live voice pilot

Live voice requires separate activation. When available, choosing Start live voice and allowing microphone access streams audio through Vercel AI Gateway to the voice model provider so ZEEK can reply aloud. Unlike Dictate, speech is sent as you speak without a transcript review step. DOTZEEK does not save microphone recordings or voice transcripts in its database; voice replies are held in page memory. Provider processing and retention policies apply. Avoid sensitive information. End voice, closing ZEEK, going offline, or leaving the tab stops the microphone and playback. The app also ends sessions after 60 seconds. Each accepted session start uses one shared AI request, including failed connections; there are no automatic reconnects. Live voice is limited to approved company pilots.

Storage, retention, and requests

Inspection records remain stored for workspace use. A fixed retention schedule is not currently published, and removing an item from a list may not permanently erase all stored copies. Contact your company owner for access, export, correction, or removal requests. For platform assistance, use the support form. We may need to verify identity and company authority before acting.

Browser storage

DOTZEEK uses browser storage for sign-in sessions, selected plan, and navigation preferences. DOTLYFY also stores inspection drafts and photo files on your device; enabling offline access prepares company/customer/unit information and report summaries for use without a connection. Use offline access only on a trusted device. Pending work is not available to other devices until it syncs. Signing out checks for pending work and clears synced device copies. Browser storage may be cleared by your device, so sync regularly. The in-app camera captures into the vault without writing a copy to your phone gallery; importing an existing gallery photo does not remove its original. Avoid shared accounts and sign out on shared devices. These public pages do not add advertising or analytics trackers.
